The setting here is based after DMC4, in three beautiful cities in the human world: including Fortuna and the home town of Dante's infamous office, as well as the dark world of the Demon Realm

Current Plot:
The demon is getting closer to his goal!
Syrissin is attempting to open a portal to the demon realm he will have to open three seals, which are small portals in and of themselves. We will need more hunters to protect the cities when the seals are released. If you are planning on making you character a hunter be sure to read the protocol in the Character Template carefully.

I will be trying to post a weekly update on the main tables, be sure to check them every wednesday for cool new.... stuff.... I'll think of cool stuff to do... like competitions and contests and stuff..... I have a few ideas for contests
1. For those that want to bring up their status, weather they be a demon or devil hunter. A person would post their credentials: ie, weapons, style of fighting, stamina, strength, that sort of thing.... almost like classic D&D .... almost, and based on the information, the selected Judges will decide the winner and they will recieve a raise in Rank and the battle will be posted by an Admin. -please comment and add to this idea I need a title for it....
2. If another member was especially nice or rude to you in or out of character, send a pm to an admin and we can increase/decrease their Karma by this info. (NO sending Pms on your other characters.... that's cheating....) You can trade your Karma for a Rank increase 10 per level (A - S)
3. I was thinking of starting a Devil Hunter HQ with it's own territories and based on rank you can take different jobs posted there. Prizes for defeating these NPC's will be a certain amount of Karma (NPC's will be played by an Admin only in these cases)
Any more suggestions so we can get to work on these right away?

1 - Doesn't really effect Dante and I, but still sounds like a good idea.
2 - It's not a bad idea, but I think it might lead to politics dragging things down.
3 - Really good idea. I'm all for it. Reika, this would be out of the main story, right? Though Dante, since some of us already have our weapons set in stone, and their creation is part of the character approval process, I don't think new weapons would work out that well. Not that I'm saying it's a bad idea, just that there would be some logistics to hammer out at the least.

I'm going to start work on the DHHQ (Devil Hunter Head Quarters) where I will create an NPC that will only be useable by an admin or moderator (depending if I trust anyone to do this) though at the moment no one gets on enough for us to need mods.
I will need help working out the details, I need more suggestions what I have in mind:
Battles through the DHHQ will be scored by an admin through the dhhq-npc account, critiquing the hunters' roleplay skills, battle technique, and awarding them karma based on this.
The higher your karma the more battles you can unlock in your rank. and the higher your rank the harder the fight, and the stronger your foe.
Karma can be used to upgrade to the next rank if you so desire, but each level will get harder to reach, and I will warn everyone now, those who aren't already level S, that level will be extremely difficult to reach. I have not decided on the numbers yet for each level, I'd like to do a few test runs to see how we'll handle the scoring before I set them in stone.
Comment time!! I want oppinions and suggestions! please don't just post 'oh this will be cool' or something small like that, I like Dante and Nero's replies, though Nero has a point and I would rather not try to use Karma for anything other than rank as that will effect how much harder a person will have to work to reach the next level.

1. Like it, although maybe we could make it kind of like a tournament and two players have there characters face of and an impartial group could determine the winners? Or you could use that as another idea. 2. I agree with Nero, politics might get involved and we don't want a fight about something like Karma points. 3. Since some characters aren't all devil hunters (Psychosis, Nevan, myself, Vergil) Would we be able to get the same upgrades or would you create a different HQ. Like Vergil and I use weapons, but Nevan and Psychosis, and Demon for that matter don't. Would there be upgrades for their own natural abilities?
