Devil May Cry - Rise From the Ashes
When creating your character they can be Human, Demon or even a hybrid. If you would like your character to be a Devil Hunter or Holy Knight read up on the Character Template to see how! Check out the Archives Where you can read up on the beginnings of the current plot, or just check out the posting of a character you may want to rp with. Please read the Rules before posting anywhere And be sure to check the site-assist areas for updates, and post requests	This is a site for Intermediate to Advanced Roleplayers Beginners are welcome, but will be encouraged and assisted to improve. The setting here is based after DMC4, in three beautiful cities in the human world: including Fortuna and the home town of Dante's infamous office, as well as the dark world of the Demon Realm Join the fight for Humanity or help Chaos to reign!	!!Updates!! Member recognitions to start soon! Get active so that you can have a chance to win in one of These categories. Feel free to reply with suggestions on more categories and/or qualifications. Current Plot: The demon is getting closer to his goal! Syrissin is attempting to open a portal to the demon realm he will have to open three seals, which are small portals in and of themselves. We will need more hunters to protect the cities when the seals are released. If you are planning on making you character a hunter be sure to read the protocol in the Character Template carefully.

1. I am the admin, I know everything. so ask lol.

2. No hate, come on guys. no prejudice none! i can understand if your CHARACTER hates demons/humans. But no out of character prejudice, I will not stand by!

3.
a. No god-moding. No making an all-powerful character, it is not fair to everyone else. Not even Sparda is all powerful... notice he's not around. (for now *wiggly eyebrows*)
b. No powerplay, you can't make someone else do anything. Without aproval from the other(s) involved AND myself,or another moderator .

4. R - Mature content needs to be marked as such in the thread title (M) or otherwise.

5. At least one paragraph per post. Add some detail, you'll be surprised. All posts outside of the General board should be in THIRD person. No posting outside of the General board until your character has been accepted.

6. Go easy on the profanity, please. If the characters don't say it, neither can you XP.
Approved profanity... ironic as it sounds:
shit, damn, bastard, asshole, bitch. Anything worse has been programmed with a censor.

7. IF you want to do something in your plot that involves most if not all characters, PM for approval first. That includes someone's death, that requires approval to and from any characters involved.

8.
a.If you would like a closed thread to involve only you and another character post their names in [brackets] next to the thread title, otherwise it is free range.. within reason. and if your character changes cities suddenly, please at least mention them traveling unless they can teleport.....
b. If you would like to join in a closed thread you must pm the creator of the thread for permission.
c. You may post in no more than two places at once, not including the General board. This is so that some people don't get overwhelmed, and also give people posting with those that tend to take a while, a chance to roleplay elsewhere in the meantime.

9. I know there can be a lot of characters,but no more than 4 characters per person. I know your IP addresses. no cheating. And have a seperate account for each.

10. if you don't LOGIN for an extended period of time, your account will be deleted and if you had a cannon character it will be made available to everyone else that want it.

11. Crossovers are cool, but please talk to me first before creating a character from another (game/anime) world. I just want to check out the character myself is all.

12. DO NOT come on here spouting junk like "I hate DMC" or "Dante's dumb" you will be booted out post haste. if you don't like it.... why in the blazes are you here?!?!?!?!?!?!

13. a.)Highlight the rules above to find the confirmation quote that needs to be next your character's name when you make their profile. There are other codes that need to be added to your profile in the other Rules, please read them all carefully.
b.)During the roleplay, if something happens to your character that has enough of an impact on your character that you think it should be included in your history, feel free to make a thread in the Original Characters board:
'Histrory Addition (name)' - should be the title
Please do not modify your profile. An admin will add it in after it has been looked over.

14. Be sure to periodically check your PMs there may be an announcement from an Admin, or perhaps another member trying to get hold of you. If you do not check your messages 9/10 times you login you may recieve a warning, especially if someone has asked you to check them.

15. And last but certainly not least. HAVE FUN! If I catch anyone breaking the rules you will be forewarned. Three strikes and you're out! Depending on the severety of the event, you may only recieve a warning. An admin will tell you if it is a warning or a strike. I thank those that are having fun without any rule breaking and name calling!!!! ^_^

Did I mention HAVE FUN?!
